Landcruiser Hardtop Landcruiser with pop-up roof and six seats. So when travelling with a driver-guide, your own group can be five persons maximum. When camping, we take out the rear seats, and the car can accommodate a maximum of four persons.
BUDGET - Toyota RAV4 Fits 4 people or 2 with camping luggage
Serengeti, Lake Natron, and Nyerere national park are not allowed with a RAV4. As for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, the RAV4 is only allowed in the Ngorongoro Crater, the rest of the NCA is off limits and requires a Landcruiser.
The fee for hiring a driver-guide is €40 per day. This also covers all expenses incurred by the driver-guide (food, drinks, accommodation). All proceeds go to the driver. Therefore, our drivers prefer to receive their payment in cash. When you visit our office, you can settle the driver fees.

The entrance permits for the NCA and Crater can't be arranged and paid for on arrival at the gate. The Tour Operator has to issue your NCA reservation, and the actual permit needs to be paid for at our office in Arusha by creditcard only. For this, we charge a handling fee of € 25. Select this option, if you are going to visit the NCA and/ or Serengeti.
It is possible to do a multiple country roadtrip. Border crossing to the following countries is allowed: Uganda, Rwanda, Kenya. This requires an extension of the insurance cover.
